Burning Man Temple 2009

     From the heat of Austin to the heat of the desert, and finally to the heat of a few tons of wood aflame, this project was aptly named Fire of Fires.
     Headed up by Dave Umlas and Marrilee Radcliffe, the Burning Man Temple for 2009 proved to be the perfect distraction from the agony of getting The Deadfall Project ready for publication.
     I spent few weeks working in Austin and a week or so at Black Rock City. I caught up with a pile of old friends—those that only seem to appear when there's something like this afoot—as well as met some folks that I'd like to see more of in the future. Lastly, in keeping with a tradition that has plagued me since project-one, I once again fell for the wrong girl.
